This page contains links to tables and other information created when considering the Cisco E-Learning Chair Proposal being developed for SAIT.
This is a proposal to use the time and resources that the Cisco E-Learning Chair provides to develop an e-learning courseĀ based on a series of interactive case studies. The course will provide an e-learning environment where the student will be guided to review critical knowledge, practice application of knowledge, practice critical thinking, and be provided developmental feedback as they progress through the series of interactive case studies. The course will include repeated opportunities for instructors to review student progress and a summative evaluation of learning objectives. This proposal outlines how these objectives will be achieved and how this project meets the Cisco e-Learning Chair objectives with the final outcome being these deliverables:
A complete e-Learning Respiratory Therapy course based on a series of interactive case studies. The course materials will include; case study overviews, learning outcomes, learning objectives, progression schedules, student feedback mechanism, and evaluation tools.
A complete series of multimedia rich e-Learning deliverable interactive case studies. The case studies will use; video, photographs, human simulation mannequins, actors, and computer screen capture combined in an interactive on-line environment.
A final report that contains descriptions and instruction of how the interactive case studies were produced including; description of software used, video production equipment and strategies, and final production delivery methods.
Promotion of the course as an example of e-Learning evolution by making educational conference submissions and educational presentations to SAIT Faculty.
