WELCOME 

We are Alnwick District Swimming & Lifesaving Club; a family centered non-competitive swimming club teaching lifesaving for all ages.

Lifesaving instruction is based on RLSS training programs and delivered by RLSS qualified teachers. 

Younger children (6-12) follow the Rookie Lifeguard program while those 12 plus will be doing National Lifesaving Academy Bronze Awards

We swim at Willowburn Pool in Alnwick on a Sunday evening.

Sessions will start again in September

We would be delighted to accept new individual and/or family members to the club

Our Sunday swim sessions 4-5pm are designed for families to enjoy swimming together. They offer a friendly, relaxed, safe atmosphere so that everyone can enjoy their swim whatever their ability of confidence level. Children can progress to Rookie Lifesavers once old enough and spaces allowing, and from there to the National Lifesaving Academy Bronze Awards.

Membership cost for 2025/26 for an individual Rookie or adult member is £8 a month.   Family membership is also available.   (Please note that membership fees will be reviewed at the AGM in October).
