Overview
An emergent strand of my work has focused on questioning and understanding the limits and parameters of the field of regulatory studies - the assumptions that shape the analysis and theorisation of this field of endeavour, the scope of what is and is not included within its gaze, and the ways that alternative disciplines and lenses can augment, challenge, or extend the scope of 'regulation and governance' studies in new and fruitful ways. This has involved some very positive collaborations with colleagues in different disciplines, and from around the world, in particular Professor Judith van Erp at Utrecht University, Netherlands (Governance and Public Management), and Dr Garry C. Gray at the University of Victoria, Canada (Sociology).
