Skills Science

Course Description: Skills Science emphasizes understanding of basic concepts and using skills acquired. The students will observe, inquire, question, formulate and test hypotheses, analyze data, report, and evaluate findings. The students will have hands-on, active experiences throughout the instruction of the science curriculum. The competencies and performance indicators for the course are aligned to the NH K-12 Model Science Competencies, the Next Generation Science Standards, and the 21st Century Learning Expectations. The concepts that are introduced are directly correlated to the Spaulding High School Science Competencies. The Skills Science class is for students who are intending to receive a modified diploma.
