2020 SEASON

FIRST ROUND STATE GAME 11/14

Due to our field conditions, we are going to play at Toms River East turf field tomorrow. Players will arrive at Allentown High School at 745am for 8am bus leave time. WEAR BLACK UNIFORMS TOMORROW. 2 parents for each player are allowed to attend and must wear a mask at all times.

PRACTICE PROTOCOL

Players and parents MUST read all the information below. Our season is very fragile and any violation outside of protocol puts our team, and other teams, at risk of losing our season

• Before Leaving the House

  • You must complete this form BEFORE arriving to the high school.

  • Players should wear the following color shirts to practice all week

    • Freshman: Gray

    • Sophomores: Red

    • Juniors: Black

    • Seniors: White

      • All players should bring all four colors to practice but wear the designated color above to start practice. We are not allowed to share pinnies so this is the easiest way to be able to change teams and keep our teams flexible throughout training.

• Arriving for practice

  • Students arriving to practice from school: Right after school, you will meet outside the locker room in the hallway keeping 6 feet apart from each. 5 players are permitted to get changed in the locker rooms. After you leave the locker room you will walk out to the soccer field behind the tennis courts. Cones will be set up 6 feet apart. You will put your bag, water, etc. down at a cone and stand/sit there until Coach Plunkett comes out from the locker room. Masks are worn the entire time and players must stand/sit at their cone not getting within 6 feet of another player.

  • Students arriving to practice from home: Players will arrive by the tennis courts/field hockey field. Masks are to be put on before the player exits the car. Players will go to the soccer field behind the tennis court keeping 6ft from all other players, coaches, parents. Cones will be set up 6ft apart. Players will put their water, bag, etc. down at a cone and stand/sit there until Coach Plunkett comes out from the locker room.

• Before practice: Once all players are at their cones, I will take their temperature. If they have a temperature of 100.4, they will not be able to practice.

• During practice: We will have normal tryout sessions with player contact/scrimmaging etc. However, during water breaks, players must go to their cones and drink their water. They cannot wander around during water breaks. They must stay at their cones to drink water and then come back on the field.

• After practice: Players will put their masks on to walk back to their cars. Players will be released in groups at the end of practice to ensure social distancing in the parking lots.

I cannot stress enough how fragile our season is and how crucial it is players follow all protocols if we want to have a season.
