About Me

Chia-Lun (Allen) Lo (羅家倫) is an interdisciplinary researcher. He earned an M.S. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Oregon, an M.S. in Health Care Administration from Taipei Medical University, and an M.S. in E-commerce and Business Analysis from National Sun Yat-sen University. He later received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from National Chung Cheng University (CCU), Taiwan.

Before pursuing advanced academic training, he accumulated several years of professional experience in hospital management, the IT industry, and management consulting. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Business Administration at Fooyin University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. In addition, he has extensive administrative experience, having served as Department Chair, Director of Institutional Research and Planning, and Dean of International and Cross-Strait Affairs.

His research interests include medical informatics, big data processing, business intelligence and data mining applications, decision analysis, and human resource planning in healthcare and long-term care organizations. He has also led and collaborated on multiple research projects in data analysis and healthcare organization administration with academic institutions and local governments.
