3. Surface bundles: we will use Morita's book "geometry of Characteristic classes", Hatcher's notes "a short exposition of the Madsen-Weiss Theorem" and Soren Galatius' "Lectures on the Madsen-Weiss theorem"

each topic will take up about 3 weeks.
