DudeLol is an android application that you use when you are bored and just want to passively pass time. It's a simple way to have fun recording video, audio, or take pictures of yourself during the day. You can even enjoy some simple doodles in the drawing canvas as well. The Sound Record has an actual sound recorder coded in so you can record some audio of yourself or possibly a song you've composed and here that play back. In order to get this feature in the app to work, an if/else statement was used for one button to record and stop recording. It switches the text from "Record Sound" to "Recording" in red to indicate you are recording something; then when pressed again, it switches back to "Record Sound", stops recording and saves it to a player(after the sound was recorded), and we(Kara Nguyen and myself) finally used another button to start the player when done so that the user can hear what they recorded.
"Below is a QR CODE you can scan to test out our app we created in App Inventor".
[Update: Qr code doesn't work so well using the "MIT AI2 Companion" but you can use it to get the link for the apk file- just copy the link from "MIT AI2 Companion" into a browser and it will download the apk for the app to your android device; installing will also require you to enable downloading from unkown sources. After that, you will have DudeLol on your device, enjoy ^w^]
