Conceived from a desire to play clarinet in a high-volume electric context, with loose touchstones including Prime Time, Last Exit, 70's Miles Davis, no-wave etc. Debut album "BAD FOLDS" was constructed from directed and free improvisations plus compositions invented on the spot in the studio, in a further development of the method first tried in the second half of Predicate's "NAILS" album. First live performance by Forebrace took place in 2014, and second album "STEEPED" (recorded live at Cafe Oto and the Vortex in London) was released on Relative Pitch records in 2016.
