My principal areas of research are banking and monetary theory & policy. 

I am currently working on several topics on the interaction of macro-finance and monetary economics. My ongoing projects involve (i) the design of Central Banks' Emergency Liquidity Assistance facilities, (ii) the interaction of Conventional and Unconventional Monetary Policies, Credit Provision, and Financial Stability, (iii) the effect of Bubbles on Credit and Output, and (iv) the Financial Stability implication of Digital Assets with special focus on Stablecoins and Tokenized Investment Funds. 

I received my PhD in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford.
