Alexandre Cândido Moreira was born on January 1981 in Goiânia - GO, Brazil. He graduated in Electrical Engineering in 2003 from the Federal University of Goiás - UFG. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, in 2006 and 2017, respectively. From 2015 to 2016, he was a Visiting Doctoral Scholar at the University of Oulu, Finland. Since, 2010, he is working as Professor at Federal University of São João del-Rei, Brazil. Areas of interest: Power Quality, Power Theories, Harmonic Analysis, Power System Measurement, Electrical Machines and Power Electronics.
