I’m an economist with a doctorate and a particular interest in economic and social institutions: how they work, why they become complex, and how they might be designed differently.
I currently work as a research associate at the Federal Statistical Office of Germany and have taught economics at the universities of Heidelberg and Würzburg, as well as at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
I am currently working on a non-fiction book that asks how some of our most important economic and social institutions could be reimagined from the ground up.
