I am a tenured Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Trinity College Dublin (currently on leave). I am affiliated with TIME, CESifo Research Network, and an invited researcher at JPAL.
I joined Trinity in 2017 after obtaining my Ph.D. in Economics from IDEA at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Barcelona Graduate School of Economics. Before that, I earned my undergraduate degree in I completed my undergraduate in Colombia, completed graduate studies at HEC Lausanne, and worked as a Research Fellow at the Inter-American Development Bank.
I am currently based in Belgium, where I balance an active research agenda with the equally meaningful work of raising my young family.
