Overall, students rated my first semester as an instructor as a 4.5 out of 5.0.

Regarding the course, students commented that:

"The class is very engaging. The use of guest speakers encourages students to attend class and gives them an opportunity to view social opinions/behaviors from a different perspective. In-class activities and group assignments also provides students with experience when it comes to working in a team setting."

"This class should remain a discussion heavy class, and being in a smaller classroom in person encouraged meaningful interaction between students, rather than an online class discussion."

Regarding myself as the instructor, students commented that:

"Professor Ewing is a truly knowledgeable and engaging instructor. She makes very clear the issues that linger in our social environment and prompts students to attempt at formulating solutions to remedy the problems. Not only that, she provides feedback on the students' work to strengthen their critical and analytical thinking."

"Aldenise Ewing is an extraordinary educator who prioritizes the success of her students and goes above and beyond to teach the course's content in a way that is not only easy to understand, but also dynamic in nature and forces the class to think critically from viewpoints that are different from what they are accustomed to.
