Welcome to my website!

I am a senior research economist at the Bank of Spain since September 2026,  working in the Public Sector division (DG Economics). Previously, I worked at the International Monetary Fund for 8 years, in various departments: Research (World Economic Studies division), Fiscal Affairs (Fiscal Policy & Survaillance division), and Sub-Saharan Africa (Regional Studies division).

My main research interests span Macroeconomics, Fiscal Policy, Macro-Labor, Development Economics, and Demographics.

I completed my Ph.D. in Economics at the European University Institute under the supervision of Profs. Evi Pappa and Juan Dolado.
Previously, I studied at Bocconi University (MSc. Economics) and London School of Economics (BSc. Econometrics and Mathematical Economics).
