I am an assistant professor of political science at Stanford University; an assistant professor, by courtesy, of environmental social sciences at the Doerr School of Sustainability; and senior fellow, at the Woods Institute for the Environment. I work in the fields of international political economy, environmental politics, and formal political theory.
My papers are forthcoming or have been published in International Organization, American Journal of Political Science, Journal of Politics, Review of International Organizations, and Global Environmental Politics. My paper The Enemy of My Enemy: When Firms Support Climate Change Regulation was awarded the Robert O. Koehane award for best paper published in International Organization by an untenured scholar and the APSA Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy (STEP) award for best paper published in the last two years.
I received a Ph.D. from Princeton University, an M.S. from Georgetown University, and a B.A. from New York University. Before joining Stanford, I was faculty member in the department of politics at New York University.
