I had to go through this process again, so I decided to document it because I'll be doing it again in a couple months.

This document contains information on how to start an LLC in Georgia. You must specify where it's a sole proprietor LLC or a multi-partner LLC. Also you will be asked if you want to be taxed as a sole proprietor, multi-partner or corporation.

Reserve a name - $25

Personally, I like to call, not use the online form. The IRS agent will help you a little if you are nice and have your shit together. Just make sure you fill out the form SS-4 before you call. They hate to wait.

Mail in your Transmittal Form 231 with your articles - $100.
