MSc Students

Ellen McKee

I am a current student studying for a Masters in Environmental Policy and Management at the University of Bristol. Within this Masters I am interested in joining the academic disciplines of the natural sciences, social sciences and politics to formulate well- evidenced conservation policy. To pursue these interests I am writing my dissertation specifically researching the implications for vulture conservation after a natural colonisation process in Mallorca.

Alejandro Delgado

I have been a student from a Master in Conservation Biology at the University of Pablo de Olavide in Seville. I made this Master because I am interested in joining the academic disciplines of nature conservation and applied ecology to increase the knowledge in the behaviour of species and improve their conservation by proposing the elaboration of new conservation policies or the modification of already existing ones. To pursue these interests, I wrote my dissertation researching the implication of environmental and individual factors, such as habitat selection and sex, respectively, on long-distance movements of different griffon vultures populations from Spain and southern France in order to determine the importance of those movements in the conservation of these vultures .

Lola Fernández

My name is Lola and I am an environmental scientist. I recently finished my Master of Biodiversity and Biology's Conservation from the Pablo de Olavide university, including a Master thesis titled "Use of trophic resources by GPS-tagged griffon vultures: a non-lineal relationship".

I am currently working on publishing the results of this Master thesis and therefore trying to contribute on gaining knowledge about such an interesting species as griffon vultures.

Field Assistant

Marta Serra

I am technical field assistant within the researches on griffon vultures colonisation in Mallorca.
