My foremost passion lies in psychology and social sciences, which I ponder on in my spare time and in practice as much as I can. These soft skills underlie what I chose to focus on throughout my academic and professional careers so far. After a period of seeking, I finally landed as a technical writer where information gathering and comfort with people play a major role in developing quality documentation for customers.
I began my university career at the University of Massachusetts Amherst majoring in Chemical Engineering. Since a degree in engineering was not enough for me to understand the mathematical foundation, I decided to pursue a Master's in Applied Mathematics. Formerly, I worked as a programmer who develops and maintains medical software. Then, as an automation engineer with financial risk management software for ambulatory clinics. Now, I am a technical writer for engineering software at The MathWorks.
In my free time, I enjoy playing piano, playing violin, singing, kirigami, origami, drawing birds, reading, writing, discovering music, traveling, swimming, walking, psychology, philosophy, video games, virtual reality, keeping in touch with friends, and browsing the internet.
