Ahmed El Oualkadi received Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Poitiers, France, in 2004. From 2000 to 2003, he was a research assistant at the Electronics & Electrostatics Research Unit at the University of Poitiers, France. In 2004, he was an assistant professor at University Institute of Technology, Angoulême, France. During this period, he worked, in collaboration with EADS-TELECOM, on various European projects which concern the nonlinear analysis & RF circuit design of switched- capacitor filters for radio-communication systems. He joined the Microelectronics Laboratory at the University Catholic of Louvain, Belgium in 2005, where he worked on the analog and mixed design of low power high temperature circuits and systems, in SOI technology, for wireless communication. He has managed and participated in several European and regional projects in the areas of wireless communication and sensor networking with the UCL, Belgium. Currently, he is a professor at the National school of applied sciences of Tetuan, Abdelmalek Essaadi University, Morocco, where he is the deputy director of Scientific Research and Cooperation. His research interests include Electronics, Analog IC, mixed-signal and RFIC design for wireless communication, embedded system applications and wireless communications. He has supervised several PhD and Masters Theses and has been the principal investigator and the project manager for several international and bilateral research projects. He is a member of the Editorial Board member of more than 8 international journals and the Guest Editor of 5 special issues. He was the editor of 5 books and the co-author of 14 book chapters, moreover, he has authored or co-authored more than 80 papers in recognized journals, magazines and international conferences. He was the counselor & founder of UCAM IEEE Student Branch at the Cadi Ayyad University, Marrakech, Morocco in 2007 and the Ex-secretary of IEEE Morocco computer & communications chapter. He is a member of European Microwave Association (EuMA) and a member of the scientific and technical committee of WCECS and WASET. He was also a member of several Organizing and Scientific Committees of international symposia and conferences.
