2: Good morning Ahern, and welcome to "The Daily 2". Today is Friday, November 6th and it's a Day 3. 

1: Happy birthday today to 

2: For students in the music program, today is an Instrument Day. 

1: Entre choices for today's lunch include Brick Oven Pizza, Cheese Quesadilla, Chicken Caesar Salad, Smoothie and Pretzel, or Hot and Cold Sandwiches. 

2: Served with Ice Cold Milk, Fresh Fruit and Veggie Bar, sliced cucumbers and hummus. 

1: There will be an Open House for 8th graders interested in Southeastern Vocational High School is on Saturday, November 14, from 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM. 

2: Applications are now being accepted at Norfolk Aggie and Southeastern  for 8th graders interested.  Applications are submitted online.  See Mrs. Henry in the counseling office if you plan to apply or if you have any questions. 

1: Student Council is excited to host Fall Fest next Tuesday in the cafeteria from 2:30-3:30pm. Expect good music, fun activities, great snacks for sale and a whole lot more! Tickets are on sale at lunch. 

2: It's $5 for admission or $7 for admission PLUS a delicious apple cider donut. See you there! 

1: AND NOW A WORD FROM THE HANNAH GAMES. THE HANNAH GAMES COMMITTEE IS STILL LOOKING FOR  NUMBERS 500 AND 793. IF YOU HAVE EITHER OF THOSE NUMBERS PLEASE COME TO THE OFFICE TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE. 

2: ALSO THE COMMITTE IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE HANNAH GAMES FIRST WINNER OF THE BEAUTIFUL ANGEL OF THE AHERN T SHIRT!... NONE OTHER THAN… MS KERNER! 

1: SHE WAS PICKED AS A CONTESTANT ON WEDNESDAY AND JACK PUT HER TO THE TEST IN FRONT OF HER WHOLE CLASS! 

2: HE ASKED HER 7 "FUN FACT" QUESTIONS AND SHE HAD TO GET THEM ALL RIGHT TO WIN. AND WITH THE HELP OF ONE OF  HER STUDENTS…ON THE VERY LAST QUESTION……. SHE SCORED! 

1: CONRATULATIONS MS KERNER ! 

2: NOW ONE MORE THING…JACK SAYS MANY OF YOU ARE ASKING ABOUT HOW LONG THE HANNAH GAMES WILL GO ON. HE TOLD US HERE AT THE DAILY 2 THAT THE PLAN IS TO TAKE IT RIGHT UP UNTIL HANNAH’S BIRTHDAY……MAY 28. SO THERE WILL BE LOTS MORE NUMBERS AND FUN FACTS!
