Welcome to my website!
I am a Senior Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor with tenure) in the School of Economics at the University of Queensland and a member of UQ's Centre for Unified Behavioural Economic Sciences (UQ CUBES). My CV is available here.
My research lies at the intersection of microeconomic theory and financial economics, with a particular focus on security and contract design, market and mechanism design, information economics, and search. I also use experimental methods and structural econometrics to complement and discipline my theoretical analysis.
A central theme of my research is how risk preferences and information frictions shape financial contracting and market outcomes. I study environments in which firms, investors, or market designers can use alternative securities and contingent payment instruments to allocate risk, facilitate trade, and achieve desired economic outcomes.
