I am an Associate Professor / Titular de Universidad at CUNEF Universidad, in Madrid. Before that I spent time at UC3M, EUI and Northwestern, where I got my Ph.D.

My main fields of research are Political Economy and Institutional Economics. I have published both empirical and theoretical papers, in places like Journal of Public Economics, American Political Science Review, Economic Theory, World Development, Journal of Politics and many others. Now, I have a conditionally accepted paper in The Economic Journal, and a R&R in International Economic Review.
