Agito congratulates Gwynedd and Isle of Anglesey Councils

Following the announcement that the Welsh Government has awarded an additional £6 million to develop sustainable transport policies across Wales, Agito wishes to congratulate Gwynedd and Isle of Anglesey Councils on their success in securing £1 million of this funding.

This will go towards the creation of a ‘sustainable travel centre’ across the Môn a Menai area, providing infrastructure and service improvements to encourage alternatives to car use and reducing congestion.

The bid for funding was supported by a comprehensive strategy and implementation programme to deliver a range of measures to promote and support sustainable travel and influence travel behaviour throughout Bangor City Centre and surrounding region, originally produced by Agito Partners Bob Barlow, Nigel Roberts and Roy McDonald.
