Now we are Six

posted 8 Jun 2017, 03:16 by Roy McDonald   [ updated 8 Jun 2017, 03:17 ]

When we were one,
We had just begun.
When we were two,
We were nearly new.
When we were three,
We could hardly foresee.
When we were four,
We were not much more.
When we were five,
We were just alive.

But now we are six, we’re as clever as clever!
So we think we'll be Agito, now and forever.

(with sincere apologies to A.A. Milne)
  • Christopher Robin wants to build a new eco-leisure development in The Hundred Acre Wood.
  • Winnie is proposing a new housing development at Pooh Corner.
  • As a single mother, Kanga needs a safe, convenient and affordable bus service to get Roo to and from School.
  • Tigger needs escorted transport to attend his ADHD sessions.
  • Without a car, Piglet needs to get to his job at the Poohsticks factory.
  • Rabbit would like an integrated travel ticket for when he visits his many relations.
  • Eeyore just needs a bus service from The Gloomy Place to help him overcome his depression and isolation.
  • And at Hundred Acre Wood Council, Wol, wants a review of the Council’s transport planning functions.
Agito is proud that we are now six years old, and would be able to support all of A.A.Milne's characters in their quests.
If you think that we can help you, too, please get in touch.

We're talking about buses...again!

Agito Transport Planning is to carry out local consultation to identify what people in parts of Salford want from their bus services.

A series of informal, drop-in public consultation sessions have been arranged, on behalf of Salford City Council, to inform the third, and final Phase, of an independent review of the bus network across the City.

The series of 8 sessions, through February 2017, will enable people to have a face-to-face discussion with Agito's Transport Planning team to talk about the issues with their local bus services. The feedback from the consultation will be used to support the City Council's future discussions with local bus operators and the transport authority to encourage bus service improvements, which will help to support the area’s regeneration and future economic development.

Phase 1 of the review was undertaken in March 2015, and the outcome of this has already contributed to some network improvements in the area. Phase 2 was conducted in February 2016.

The drop-in consultation is backed up by a dedicated email address - consultation@agito-llp - and a Twitter account - @salfordbustalk - allowing people who can't attend the drop-in sessions to have their say.
