8th February 2013
The Chinese zodiac follows a twelve year cycle, each of the years being named after an animal. The Chinese believe that people born in a particular year take on the characteristics of the animal associated with that year. This year we have identified a hitherto unknown thirteenth animal.
The Agito (ah – gee – toe) encompasses all that is wholesome about our transport planning consultancy. The Agito is a mythical beast, half horse, half rooster.
The horse represents energy and is an indicator of confidence, perceptiveness and success. The horse is spirited, independent, skilful, perceptive, adaptable, intelligent, adventurous, ambitious and strong.
The horse is recognised to be very hardworking and will work on until a job is finished. The horse is able to cope with several projects at once.
Similarly, the Rooster is equally hardworking and strong-willed. The Rooster represents honesty and confidence. Roosters are considered to be meticulous, well organised and good time keepers and noted to be definite about their decisions but never afraid to speak their minds.
The Rooster influences in the beast soften its robust qualities and emphasise the fanning out with brilliance, and the desire to show the world effective capabilities and skills.
Furthermore, the green colouring of the Agito represents the fresh start of spring with the hue symbolising youth, adventure and growth.
We are confident that 2013 will prove to be the Year of Agito and we invite you to join us on the journey.
