Bar fight? Really? How Cliche!

Te'wig erupts into the Silver Sliver obviously happy with his latest creation. Glancing around the many faces that might be familiar until he spots his companions. "I've done it!, Ha ha!" Te'wig closes the gap and lowers his voice, "I have designed the ultimate tracking device." He reaches into his bag and pulls out an old ship's compass the needle pointing east. "Ha ha. I told you I can do it! Take that Francis you old hack!" Te'wig shouting with glee at his old mining partner, whom he now hates with great contempt. Te'wig notices all the faces of the Silver Sliver watching him, he stops himself, clears his throat, "Yes but now we can find him!" Raises a mug to his lips and sits down to hear what his friends are thinking.

But then things went south! It seems Amaril's old crewmates (see men that killed his Captain and blamed it on him) have come to town looking to settle the score! Amaril tells the group it has been fun and real, but it is time for him to blow this Popsicle stand and he rushes upstairs to get his crap and get the hell out of dodge.

The Sheriff enters the Silver Sliver begrudgingly and heads over to Mutt with about 30 pirates in tow. Seeing as Mutt is the biggest baddest guy in town, the Sheriff figures showing them a guy that could tear their heads off might keep them in check just a bit! Mutt and Kirin do their best to send Slade on his way telling him that Amaril tried to cheat them out some jewels and high tailed it out of town earlier this morning. Slade humors the group and sends his second in command off to track down Amaril while he decides to check upstairs for the rat himself! Elia decides that in order to find a job with the Adventurer's Guild it would be best to be in good company with Mutt and group, so she steps up to help sell the story Kirin and Mutt have been selling, offering to take Slade to her room, as it was previously Amaril's. Slade smiles and follows her lead. In an effort to show the group he fears no one and to add insult to injury, he takes the Gems Amaril left on the table for the group!

"Pirate, thieving don't' go 'round these parts, ya here me Pirate" Mutt thought to himself (Well maybe not exactly, but that was the basic idea) as he clenched his Axe and prepared to do a little spring cleaning in the ol' Silver Sliver. Kirin jumped in with his eloquent words forming an auditory contract with the Sheriff while threatening the Captain at the same time!

"Sherrif, I will consider myself bound by our last agreement regarding matters of city security and would like to take this time to report a theft." Nodding to Mutt, Kirin smiles and fills himself the cestrial powers of creation before continuing. "The culprits will be easy to recognize, they will have a bag of gems which belongs to me and they will be severely beaten and burned."

However the pirates and Slade were ready! Whirling with a quick motion, Slade grabs Elia by the arm twists it behind her back and draws his Cutlass, while the rest of the pirates draw their blades as well. "It seems as those there will be bloodshed after all. How quaint." Slade says with a eerily calm demeanor.

And that is where the pirates luck ran out. Kirin launches a invisible force at the nearest table throwing it up the stairs into a group of the pirates, shattering the table and shredding the pirates in the resulting shrapnel of the table! Te'Wig quickly follows suit, pumping back his crossbow and firing deadly streaks of fire turning 3 more pirates into charred ash! Mutt moving quickly jumps into action, picking up a nearby chair and hurling it at the nearest pirate, taking his head off in the process, at the same time moving up to the next pirate in line he uses his trusty woodsman axe to cut the poor pirate in half! Elia using the quick actions of the group to her advantage spins quickly wrenching her arm free from Slade's grip and in a single motion thrusts her hands up crooking her fingers like branches of a tree and the floor erupts as huge vines rip through the floor and entangle Slade and the Pirates around him.

Deciding that Slade will be nothing but a problem for her newly found group, Elia quickly draws her dagger and plunges it deep into Slade's stomach! The shank did it's work and Slade winced in pain but managed to utter the works "disaperos" and vanished! He is soon found however, as the rumble of horses outside show that Slade teleported onto Rivin's ( the First Mate ) horse! The Pirates decide it best to make a tactical retreat and charge off on horseback out of town! Mutt, Kirin and Te'Wig all make a break for the door. Mutt makes it first and lunges after the fleeing pirates but just misses crashing down on them with his axe. Kirin and Te'Wig are a step behind and emerge from the Silver Sliver just as some of the pirates bring the awning down on top of them by use of the horses and their grappling hooks! Fortunately Kirin was already sinking into the ground with his burrow spell, and Te'Wig shows that even a dwarf miner can be an Olympic gymnast when the time comes, as he dives off the porch coming to his feet after a rather smooth roll!

Mutt wastes no time using his better knowledge of the city to cut through the back allies to get an angle on the pirates. Seeing that managed to get a bit ahead of them, he draws one of his throwing axes and hurls it into the ass end of one of Fred's pigs as he swings open their corral gate! The pigs stampede the streets and what can only be described as devastation happens next! The pirates, pigs and horses collide in a massive collage of carnage leaving all of the pirates dead save Riven and Slade who were badly wounded and tossed across the street onto the porch of the Tailors!

Mutt proceeds to walk over and simply step on Slade's head and crushes it, like putting out an old cigar. At the same time Kirin erupts from the ground and fires white hot starlight streaks of fire at Riven's feet causing the man to scream and surrender! Riven and the remaining pirates were taken into custody by the Sheriff, the group manage to get their gems back, some extra gold from Slade, as well as his magical necklace, and his sword, which seems to be magical as well. Kirin identifies the sword as a sword of leadership and decides it is best left to Mutt, who seems to be the most tactically sound of the group. And having trouble with the necklace, hands it off reluctantly to Te'Wig to try and sort out.

Te'Wig says he will take care of it and tells the rest of the group to get some rest so they can leave in the morning to track down the man with the magic stone, as the magic in his compass will start fading fast! Te'Wig heads back home and starts tinkering with the necklace and unlocks it's secrets and decides to call it an early night. Meanwhile the rest of the group explain to the adventurer's Guild what just happened and what they are preparing to do. The Guild rewards the group for protecting the town, asks them to help clean up the Silver Sliver and offers to bring them supplies for their quest in the morning. The group does as they are told, cleans up, enjoys a few drinks from Rhett for the services performed, and then gets some shut eye.

The morning comes quick and the group head to Te'Wig's home to find Charlie from the Guild standing ready with a pack mule of supplies and weapons to send them on their way!
