For my presentations that you can download from the publications page, I used to use prezi, which however has no LaTeX support.

I then switched to using inkscape together with sozi and textext. This allows to produce svg files with embedded java scipt. When opening the files in a browser it is possible to navigate through the presentation using the arrow keys. Also try the 't' key.

If you want to read a great book about presenting I recommend 'The Naked Presenter' by Garr Reynolds. The same author also wrote 'Presentation Zen Design' which is a very good book on how to make your presentations look great.
