For 30 years I am working with farmers, consumers and goverment on sustainable housing - food - planet.
In 2022 I will do an ExpeditionBeautifulWorld. I want to highlight sustainable social projects from The Netherlands to Pakistan.
My purpose is to show:
> real sustainable buildings & energy systems,
> circular agricultural food production and
> improvements to climate & social strenght.
I hope this will inspire government, banks, consumers and farmers to multiply the good things and leave the bad.......
My companion is my LandRover #Defender on fossilfree diesel, made of waste from industry and restaurants. It is converted into an #overland car by PSP-expeditioncampers and has a drinkwaterfilter of Aqua Logic. It is maintained by Bisselink en Gerrits.
And I will #walk and camp a lot on #glaciers of 60km long.

1. Plan Sustainable Social Netherlands;
fossil free heating with PVT-solarpanelsource for heatpump, so fields are kept for food production and for forests from which we built woodchip-houses

2. Sustainable farms in Netherlands Gelderland
On Horticulture Lijsterbes, Horticulture & camping Beijer, Landwinkel Beijer, dairyfarm & camping Hoge Hof and dairyfarm & day-care Fox Hill, the farmers combine production of vegetables/ dairy/ ice, day-care for older people, tourism and biodiversity.
3. Sustainable farms and biodiversity in Netherlands Brabant
In 1992 the ministry VROM made Policy on Housing, Spatial Planning and Environment (VINEX). Projects with farmers and consumers were to improve complete catchment areas of prior brooks (see green and brown areas on map). Results are sustainable food at Hoefkens and Langeboomseweg ánd biodiversity around Hoge Raam, Tovense Beek/ Anthonisbos with Taurusos, Esper Loop etc.
4. Less emissions from mature, with radiators of PVT in Belgium
We can see these solutions for climate proof stables at Energieverdieners Pigfarm and Koe Boe.
5. Mountaineers and sustainability in Italy
Mountaineer & farmers like Reinhold Messner, Stefano Ardito and others did a lot for sustainability and social strengh on the world.
6. Sustainable farms in Croatia & Bosnia Dobro Dobrim
After war and earth quakes, Dobro Dobrim rebuilds houses and food production in a balance with the earth. Help from 4WDcare.
7. Biodiversity and food production in Albania
In the national parks or with a guide you can find a lot of biodiversity and organic food production. See also Harrie Schouten Travel.
8. Sustainable farms, biodiversity and Mount Ararat in Turkey
In the east of Turkey, people built sustainable houses, food production and biodiversity. For example see Intelligent Living.

10. Trekking and manmade icetowers on glaciers in Pakistan
Between mountainpeaks up to 8.611 meters and over 60 km glaciers of (Hispar & Biafo and) Baltoro - basecamp K2.
I have solo-glacier-experience, so I prefer to go without porters. And will support them via Nunatak, Land Rover Pakistan Club, Machulo.
11. Skills for people with disabilities in India Dunia Lulu
This non-profit Dunia Lulu raises money for schools and a cafe, where people with disabilities get education or learn skills for work.
