Our laboratory, in collaboration with the Department of Medical Education and Research and the Department of Rehabilitation at Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital, has recently demonstrated that red blood cells (RBCs) from post-stroke patients undergoing intravenous laser therapy exhibit significantly improved deformability compared to those from untreated stroke patients. This finding addresses longstanding skepticism within the medical community regarding the efficacy of this treatment and provides dual validation through both clinical outcomes and experimental scientific evidence.
