Research on the characteristics of quiet areas in agglomerations as defined in 2002/49/EC directive relating the assessment and management of environmental noise.

Research on the impacts of environmental noise and the designation of sound variation of quiet areas, depending on their degree of urbanization.  

The road to quietness. A methodology for finding quiet areas in agglomerations

Development of methodology concerning the finding of urban quiet areas using surveys, noise measurements and soundwalks.
