Short biography:

Hi every one, I am currently an Assistant Professor at the Digital Research Center of Sfax. Previously, I earned my PhD (2011) in computer science from the "Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraines" (INPL), and earlier in 2007, I obtained my master's degree from the "Institut National des Sciences Appliquées" (INSA) of Rouen. From 2011 to 2012 I was a postdoctoral researcher at the "Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées ParisTech". I have also spent 4 years working for the Driving Assistance Research Center of Valeo as a computer vision researcher in an international industrial environment.

Machine learning, deep learning, data-driven models, etc.
Computer vision (Visual tracking, 3D reconstruction, structured light systems, calibration, multiple view geometry related topics, etc.)
Pattern recognition (Lip-reading, visual speech recognition, biometrics, pedestrian detection and tracking, etc.)
Biomedical Imaging (medical image registration, endoscopic 3D data reconstruction, etc.)
