Fiction

"les graffiti eterneles" is set in Mexico and relates a meeting between a Vietnam veteran and a woman who remembers WW II in Germany. It was published in Spoiledink, October, 2003.

The other stories remain unpublished. Set in Thailand, they deal, roughly, with love ("That Moment by the River"), Spirits ("Slight Figure",) Buddhism ("True Word") and loss ("Pretty").

"That Moment by the River" is rather tongue-in-cheek--the basic premise, how to placate a sexually needy ghost, while quite comprehensible within a Thai framework is my own fanciful invention and does not actually occur, as far as I know.

"Slight Figure of a Child" is experimental--an attempt to capture the voice of Thai storytelling and the rhythms of the language.
