Biography
I was born in Jeddah, Makkah Al-Mukarramah (Saudi Arabia). I received my Ph.D. degree in Software Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. Currently, I’m working as an academic staff in the department of Software Engineering, College of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).
Besides teaching, I have been given responsibilities as member of several academic and administrative committees. In fact, my years of teaching experience have provided me the potential for teaching and supervising different kinds of students in the level of undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
During my academic journey, I have participated in a number of international conferences and published several papers in top journals, with a few more under review. My research interests lie in Computer Science with particular interests in Software Engineering such as software testing, reliability and quality, component-based software engineering, agile methodologies, and systematic mapping & review.
