My philosophy begins with the need to reframe and redefine cybersecurity. The conventional view often sees it as a combative endeavor—daily battles between "adversaries" and "defenders". But by applying a self-actualization lens, we can unlock new ways to think and live as digital citizens. This approach offers more than just security and a "fight" to attain and sustain it; it provides a path toward shared wealth, deeper understanding, and thriving in an increasingly complex physical and digital world.
In the content I share and the services I provide, I strive to bridge these two realms. I offer insights that not only help solve the technical puzzles of cybersecurity but also inspire deeper reflection on what it means to be secure, aware, free, and fulfilled—in both the digital and real worlds.
I have contributed articles to diverse platforms, reflecting the two core aspects of my work. For example, in an online cybersecurity magazine, I published an article titled "Diversity in Cybersecurity" where I discuss the need for more diverse experiences and perspectives in the cybersecurity profession.
On the other hand, for New Harbinger Publications, I wrote an article titled "Love: A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing", where I delve into the nature of love, question what it really is, and propose ways to truly demonstrate love—both with others and within ourselves.
These two sides of my work—cybersecurity as a puzzle (the right information) and cybersecurity as a mystery (enough information/self-actualization)—may seem distinct, but they are deeply interconnected.
