Hello and welcome to my site.

I am a postdoc at the Indian Institute of Science, Dept. of Mathematics, Bangalore.

I graduated with an M. Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in the year 2014.

Although my major as an undergraduate was in Mechanical Engineering, I joined the MSc programme in Mathematics at the Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI) in August 2014 and graduated in April 2016. Subsequently, I joined TIFR Mumbai as a PhD student and obtained a PhD in 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Mahan Mj. Subsequently, I joined TIFR CAM asa postdoc with Dr. Nishant Chandgotia as my mentor.

I am mainly interested in ergodic theory and topological dynamics with a combinatorial point of view. I am currently studying coding theory and corellated sampling. I have previously worked on Ramsey theory, graph limit theory, and tilings. Apart from my research work, I like learning algebraic topology, differential topology/geometry, probability and combinatorics.  I find the field of topological robotics, especially mechanical linkages and robot motion planning quite fascinating and would one day like to pursue them seriously. I am also interested in learning physics, especially classical mechanics and general relativity.

Apart form Mathematics, I like Calligraphy, Taekwondo and Badminton.

I love fountain pens and sometimes make 'sketches' of manga characters with my favourite fountain pen.

I have a YouTube channel where I upload mathematics lectures: Link to Videos
