Before this, during 2013, I used to be a Maître de Conférences (Associé) at Collège de France in Paris. Previously (2009-2012), I used to be a postdoc at Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques (IHÉS), Bures sur Yvette and a Zassenhaus Assistant Professor at Ohio State University. I received my PhD in 2009 from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. My undergraduate degree was in Statistics and I received my BStat (Hons.) in 2005 from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. My hometown is the city of Ranchi, in Jharkhand.
My research is in the fields of Noncommutative Geometry and Algebraic Geometry, with a categorical flavor. Also, I also like to dabble in K-theory and sometimes in arithmetic geometry.
