I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania (Perelman School of Medicine).

I previously completed my Ph.D. in Computational Science at The University of Texas at El Paso. I have expertise in the field of machine Learning and bioinformatics where my research focused on developing and applying computational algorithms to analyze high-dimensional biological data such as microarray, DNA Methylation, RNA-seq data.

I have developed and applied algorithms to handle different types of high-throughput biological data in my various projects. I am also experienced in differential expression analysis of RNA-seq and microarray-based experiments.

I have expertise in programming languages: R, Python, SQL, HTML, C#, and C++. I also have experience in applying various bioinformatics tools and software packages. Some of the Bioinformatics tools/packages include Bioconductor, Biopython, David bioinformatics, KEGG, String, Oncomine, Cytoscape, and Ingenuity Pathway Analysis.
