Save the date for the 5th Animal Behavior Regional Student Conference on May 21st, 2022 at UC Davis!

Our conference will feature a keynote address by Dr. Justine Smith, 15-minute research presentations and flash talks. Abstract submissions due by April 8, 2022. RSVP's for conference attendance only due May 1, 2022.

The conference will be hosted in person, with everyone masked and distanced. Outdoor seating will be provided for meals, and the conference will follow all CDC guidelines and university policies for COVID-19 precautions. The committee is prepared to alter conference plans as needed and will communicate any changes to all participants.

Save the date for the 2020 UCD Animal Behavior Regional Student Conference on October 10th, 2020! Abstract submissions are currently open. The deadline for submissions will be July 15th, 2020 and presenters will be notified in August.

More details to come in the following weeks (such as the reveal of our Keynote Speaker!), so stay tuned!

Greetings fellow animal behavior enthusiasts!

Registration is now open for the 2018 UC Davis Animal Behavior Graduate Group Research Conference to be held on campus at the University of California, Davis. This conference is open to the general public and is an opportunity for graduate students and post-docs to present their research to the larger Animal Behavior and Behavioral Ecology community of Northern California.

If you are a graduate student or post doc and would like to present please submit an abstract here.

If you would just like to attend please make sure to RSVP here so we can get enough food, rooms, and coffee to accommodate all members of the conference.

In addition to a day full of presentations there will be a light breakfast and lunch served during the conference. Afterwards, for those who are interested, there will be a happy hour followed by a potluck dinner, location TBD.

The schools that have been invited thus far include: UC Davis, UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz, UC Merced, University of Nevada; Reno, Humboldt State, Cal State-Sacramento, Cal State- Chico

ABGG Conference Updates:

The schedule for the conference and all abstracts are now posted on the website. Registration will begin at 8:15 AM followed by a keynote lecture from Dr. Richard McElreath at 9:00 AM. Talks will run from 10:00 AM-4:45PM, with a break for lunch. A happy hour will be held at City Hall Tavern from 4:45-6:00 PM, followed by a Potluck Dinner.

Directions to all the conference hall and dinner can be found on the sidebar to the left.

The 2013 UCD Regional Animal Behavior Student Conference will be held in 3001 Plant and Environmental Sciences Building (PES) on the UC Davis. Parking information, maps, and directions can be found on the webpage. As of now students from UC Davis, UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz, Stanford, Humboldt State, and SFSU are scheduled to present.

Abstracts are due on Sunday Feb 17th so we can post a schedule a week in advance. If you plan to attend please submit an abstract ASAP. You can update it after submission if you wish. You can submit abstracts here.

If you plan to attend please register as well so we can purchase food and coffee accordingly. Attendance registration can be found here.

Updates and directions to the happy hour and potluck will be updated soon in addition to a list of preliminary talks and titles.

Hello all and Welcome,

Registration is now open for the 2013 UC Davis Animal Behavior Graduate Group Research Conference to be held on campus at the University of California, Davis Campus. This is open to the general public and is an opportunity for graduate students and post-docs to present their research findings or ideas to the larger Animal Behavior and Behavioral Ecology community of Northern California in laid back conference atmosphere.
