I joined the faculty at the College of Coastal Georgia as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in fall of 2019. In May 2019, I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics at Oklahoma State University, where I worked in the areas of Analysis and Probability under the direction of Igor Pritsker. My current research is aimed at studying zero distribution of random polynomials. This very active topic is at the confluence of several branches of mathematics such as Real Analysis, Complex Analysis, Potential Theory, Approximation Theory, Probability Theory, and Fourier Analysis.
I have been working not only to develop further and widen my research, but also to hone my approach to teaching and my ability to effectively promote critical thinking, challenge students, and encourage collaboration both in and out of the classroom. I look forward to establishing roots at the College of Coastal Georgia and the surrounding community that values excellence in higher education and diversity, where I can continue to grow as an educator and researcher.
When I am not working on research or teaching-related activities, I enjoy spending my time with my wife and our two children. My hobbies include gardening, playing guitar, fishing, surfing, and skateboarding.
