Applying Is As Easy As 1-2-3

1. Download Notary Public Commision Application, Bond and Invoice

2. After printing out the application and bond, fill it out, sign it and date

3. Have the "Affidavit of Character" filled out for someone that knows you for a one year or longer and is not related to you.

4. First time applicants ONLY. You must complete the free of charge Notary Course on the internet. (Click Here)

Instructions:

1. Read "Notary Education Program" than click on "Go To Next Page"

2. Read "Instructions" than click on "START SELF-ASSESSMENT"

3. When you are at "Self-assessment" go to the box on the right hand side and click on "Create Your Account"

4. Fill in the Notary Education Registration and than click on "Submit"

5. Start the course HINT; After you complete each section log out of the course to save your progress, than log back in to continue the course.

6. After completing the course print your Certificate of Completion, don't forget to sign it.

7. Congratulations you have completed the course. Now check to make sure you have filled out the Affidavit of Character, signed the Application, Bond and Certificate of Completion.

Your social security number is required by Subsection 117.91(2), Florida Statutes.
