About the Program

This year's International Music Workshop will take place at beautiful castle, Schloss Kirchberg (an der Jagst) in South Germany between August 9 and 22 (including arrival and departure dates).

This workshop is a rather intimate course with a spontaneous and family-like atmosphere, open to advanced musicians (instrumentalists and singers). An applicant may be an individual or may be in a pre-formed group. Participants will have lots of lessons and coaching from all the professors, and will have an opportunity to work on both chamber music and solo repertoire. There will be at least 3 concerts in the castle and in neighboring towns and all the participants will be given the opportunities to perform in public concerts. Professors will be the renowned pianist Kyoko Hashimoto (Piano, McGill University), the distinguished cellist and professor at Basel Academy, Rafael Rosenfeld, and the acclaimed violinist and professor at the Rotterdam Academy of Music, Benzion Shamir.

2010年夏の国際音楽講習会は出発日及び解散日を含めて8月9日から22日まで、南ドイツのキルヒベルク城（キルヒベルク・アン・デア・ヤクスト）で開催されます。

これは自発的で家族のような雰囲気の中でおこなわれる、すべての楽器と声楽を含めた上級の音楽家のための講習会です。個人単位でもグループ単位でも参加出来ます。参加者はすべての教授からたくさんの指導を受けることができ、室内楽とソロとの両方を学ぶ機会が与えられます。講習会中は少なくとも3回、お城の中もしくは周辺でのコンサートがあります。今年度の講師陣は橋本京子（国際的ピアニスト、カナダ・モントリオール、マギル大学教授、ラファエル・ローゼンフェルト(国際的チェリスト、スイス・バーゼル音楽院)、ベンジオン・シャミール（国際的バイオリニスト、オランダ・ロッテルダム音楽院）です。
