Why

Why get involved in Scouting?

For generations, hundreds of thousands of Canadian youth have benefited from Scouting's programs. They have sought the fun, friendship and adventure of the Movement and discovered its values, educational methods and youth leadership opportunities. In this current climate of globalization and societal change, more than ever before Canadian youth need the "fun with a purpose" that Scouting provides.

Scouts Canada, the country's leading youth organization, offers seven challenging programs for boys, girls and youth age 5-26 in communities across Canada. Our Group, 67th Winnipeg Scout Group, has a long history in the River Heights area of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and has multi-generational roots in both the 66th St. Andrew's Scout Group and the 67th St. Aidan's Scout Group.

Why get involved in Beaver Scouting?

Beaver Scouts, girls and boys from age 5 to 7 gather for an hour of games, crafts and learning on Monday nights. The program year normally runs from late September to late April.
