Google Glasses will likely be here by Christmas. They will look something like this.

There’s a prism at the end of that thing. You look up and to the right and there’s a translucent rectangle. There’s the time. There’s the temperature. Command it and it starts videorecording everything you see. Ask for information, and there it is. Ask for directions and they are displayed. We’ll never be more connected to the digital world. But our faces will be upturned from the slabs we've been holding in our hands. Our heads will be up, once again. We'll be looking at the world.
We'll look geeky, though.
