Urban Sprawl

The children ask me if they can build a city under the table, and I say, “Sure.” They hold elections for city council and mayor, appoint a zoning commission, discuss raising municipal revenues. Of course, it all crashes to a halt when they chop down the trees to make room for the expanding suburbs.
