Next week we will celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week. This is always one of my favorite weeks of the year for many reasons! First of all, it is the week leading up to spring break and who doesn’t love that? There are fun activities and dress up opportunities planned for each day. But most importantly, it is a time to appreciate our commitment to sharing the love of Jesus with all of our students and families. What a blessing it is to be able to freely pray, worship, and honor Christ in all we do!
We will be doing a school-wide service project next week, collecting donations to put together kits for the Community Health Free Clinic. 4th graders are to bring in: toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, brushes, barrettes, hair ties, and lip balm. Please consider picking up a few items for our donations. Please have those to school by Wednesday. Thank you!!
Here are our dress up days for the week. If you choose not to dress up, you should wear dress code clothing.
Monday: Noisy Outfit (Loud colors, patterns, clash)
Tuesday: Opposite Day (Backwards, inside-out)
Wednesday: Iowa Day (Represent the state of Iowa. Corn? Pigs? Hawkeyes?)
Thursday: Sunday Best (Dress your finest)
Friday: Era Day (Dress from your favorite decade)
To kick off NLSW, Trinity will be holding our church services in the gym this weekend and grades K-3 will be singing. Everyone is welcome to join us!
