INTRODUCTION: "Catching the Science Bug"

I LOVE doing science and electronics projects with my 4-H clubs and family. I think that this world is a pretty amazing place, and the better we can understand it and the things that are in it, the more we can help preserve its beauty for others, and help improve the quality of life for everyone. I want to reach out to others and share what we know, because I know that together we can make a huge difference.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE

Mentor: 4-H First Lego League Robotics Club

I Helped organize and mentor a group of 4-H girls to successfully build a Lego Mindstorm robot and program it to accomplish various challenges so that it could compete in First Lego League. I'm proud of my "Power-Puff Princesses" team and what they have been able to accomplish these last two years.

Youth President of Junk Drawer Robotics Club

I Helped to organize and teach electronics and robotics design and engineering to a community club of over 35 youth. Our club members have done well at the county and state fairs with different circuits that they have built. It has been fun to explore things on my own, but even more fun to watch others get exited about learning electronics and robotics.

Hobbies

I love to Irish dance, and I'm part of an Irish dance group.
