Bob Fournier began his musical career as a bassist performing with jazz and contemporary ensembles. He has since expanded his horizons to include latin classical and finger-style solo guitar music and songs with guitar accompaniment. His extremely broad range of musical influences includes Brazilian guitar virtuoso Laurindo Almedia, 60's folk icon Fred Neil, country music great Johnny Cash, jazz legend Bill Evans, and Steppenwolf’s lead singer John Kay. Bob's songs with acoustic guitar accompaniment can best be described as passionate, sentimental human portraits of intimate relationships.
Bryce Milano is a Philadelphia-based singer songwriter and Berklee educated instrumentalist. Striving to write music that is both emotionally direct and subtly sophisticated, Milano takes listeners on a unique musical journey every time he plays. Blending his early acoustic and folk influences with jazz, R&B, pop, and rock, and with his unique and virtuosic instrumental voice, he defies categorization. Phil Romeo has performed in and around the Philadelphia area for the past three decades. He has performed with artists such as Al Green and Philly's own Rufus Harley. As an educator, he has worked with artists such as Grover Washington Jr., Doc Gibbs and Minas. Phil is also a music producer and recording artist at Romeo Music Production, (RMP) as well a composer of jingles for radio, television and the worldwide web. Gabriel Esposito graduated from Temple University with a BA in Music Education. Since receiving his degree, he has traveled and lived throughout Central and South America, including in Panama, Costa Rica, Peru, Mexico and Argentina. He has absorbed musical influences and repertoire from each of these places. Gabe played guitar in the show band for Carnival Cruise Ships and was the singer with the Cuban band “Conjunto Philadelphia.” He currently is the bassist and backup vocalist for Duality with Phil Romeo.
Chris Idzak has been playing for ages all over the country. He loves good beer, Bernie Sanders, the blues, and a good protest song. His fans tell the legend that he was born with a harmonica in his mouth rather than a silver spoon. You can see Chris playing while driving in his pickup truck in the Blue Ridge Mountains, I95, or wherever. In his sound you can recognize the lamentations of not being born rich and famous.
The Small Town Cowboys is a new band who first came together to record original music by Bob Fournier for his 2017 CD, "Bohemian Blues." Their crush zone of ideas has led to a highly creative musical environment. The dynamic guitar playing of Phil Romeo and inventive bass playing of Gabriel Esposito join with the compassionate lyrics of Bob Fournier. The three join voices in strong three-part harmony. Small Town Cowboy's bold instrumentation on the rock side is complimented on the folk side by brilliant mandolin player, Bryce Milano and sensitive harmonica player, Chris Jeye.
