In order to access Google Classroom and all the other programs we will use during any possible remote days (the days you are not in school but online), you will need to create an @NYCSTUDENTS.NET email address. If you have yours from last year, fantastico! If you are new, or need to reset, follow these directions! We will use our NYC emails for everything, except YouTube.
Where do students find their account ID and password? To retrieve your account ID and access or reset your password:
1. Go to Student Account Self Service
https://idm.nycenet.edu/students/start.form
2. Enter your 9-digit Student ID number. (You can find your Student ID number on a report card, your student ID card, or in your NYCSA account.)
3. Enter your birthday. This is the student's birthday, not parent or guardian.
4. Click Continue.
5. If the information you enter matches your student record, your username will be displayed. Write down your username.
6. Your student ID is your username followed by @nycstudents.net. For example, if your username is JaneD, your student account ID is JaneD@nycstudents.net.
7. You will then create a password. Write down your password.
