Game scoring:
Game scoring is just like traditional baseball or softball, but final results add an opportunity for seasonal scoring too (each game has an overall value split among the game participants - see the Seasonal Scoring page for more on seasonal points).
For each game:
The team with the most runs takes first place (wins) each game and earns 3 seasonal points
The team with the second-most runs takes second place each game and earns 2 seasonal points
The team with the fewest runs takes third place each game and earns 1 seasonal point. There is a winner but no skunked loser since even a loss scores 1 seasonal point.
For every game with all three teams present, there is always a winner (unless a tie is declared), but there can be no skunked loser even if they score zero runs, since they were part of the other teams' successes (their presence and play is appreciated!), and even a loss scores 1 seasonal point.
